Avery Atkinson

I’m a photographer based in Ogden, Utah, in the heart of the Northern Wasatch.

I moved to Ogden in 2018 for college and pretty quickly fell in love with the mountains and everything that comes with them. Photography became my way of documenting it all—skiing, fishing, traveling, working, and the people I get to do it with.

These days, I spend my winters working full-time as a ski patroller. Outside of the mountain, I work with a corporate event photography company documenting everything from global adventures and professional gatherings to the places in between.

My work covers a pretty wide range: action sports, portraits, music, and commercial work. More than anything, I like photographing people in their element and making images that feel natural, honest, and a little less polished.
